Code of Conduct – Imagewear.dk
At Imagewear we deliver professional workwear, footwear and uniform solutions with a focus on style, comfort and responsibility. This Code of Conduct is a common guideline for a responsible value chain – in accordance with EU legislation, applicable Danish regulations and international standards. 1. Purpose and scope
This Code of Conduct (CoC) sets out minimum requirements for ethics, human rights, working environment, environmental impact, data ethics and business integrity. The CoC applies to Imagewear ApS, employees, suppliers, subcontractors and other partners.
2. Human rights and working conditions
- Respect for ILO and international conventions as well as compliance with EU and national legislation.
- No forced labour, debt bondage or human trafficking; no child labour.
- Right to freedom of association and collective bargaining.
- No discrimination; equal opportunities regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, belief, disability, sexual orientation, etc.
- Decent pay and working conditions, statutory benefits, reasonable working hours and paid rest in accordance with law and collective agreements.
3. Health, safety and well-being
- Safe and healthy working environment, accident prevention, access to necessary safety equipment and training.
- Emergency procedures are updated and communicated on an ongoing basis.
- The right to interrupt hazardous work without reprisal.
4. Environment, materials and chemicals
- Compliance with applicable environmental legislation and continuous reduction of climate and environmental footprint.
- Responsible chemical management in accordance with EU REACH.
- Waste minimization, sorting and recycling in production and logistics.
- Focus on certified materials (e.g. OEKO-TEX®) – see also our work with Sustainable Development Goal 12.
5. Business ethics and integrity
- Zero tolerance for bribery, corruption, cartel formation and conflicts of interest.
- Transparent business practices, truthful marketing and fair competition.
- Gifts and entertainment must not influence business decisions.
- We support the principles of UN Global Compact.
6. Data ethics and privacy
- Compliance with GDPR and relevant data protection laws.
- Data minimization, secure storage and confidentiality of customer, employee and supplier information.
7. Product quality and traceability
- Product safety and statutory labelling must always be met.
- Traceability in the value chain and documentation of materials upon request.
- Fast and professional remediation of errors, deviations or safety risks.
8. Implementation, documentation and audit
- Suppliers must be able to document compliance (e.g. policies, training, certificates, audit reports).
- Imagewear may conduct risk-based audits or require action plans.
- Serious violations may result in suspension or termination of cooperation.
9. Reporting (whistleblowing)
Potential violations can be reported in good faith to compliance@imagewear.dk. Inquiries are treated confidentially, and whistleblowers are protected from retaliation. Read more about the procedure in our whistleblower section below.
10. Responsibility and entry into force
The overall responsibility for this Code of Conduct lies with the management of Imagewear ApS. The CoC enters into force upon publication on Imagewear.dk and is updated continuously.
Supplier Responsibility
Suppliers must comply with Imagewear's ethical and social standards. Read the background in our ESG framework. The requirements are detailed in the Supplier Code of Conduct below.
Supplier Code of Conduct (for suppliers)
Our suppliers must comply with the same principles as Imagewear: decent working conditions, compliance with the law, prohibition of child and forced labor, anti-corruption, environmental and chemical management, as well as traceability and documentation. The requirements are based on international standards and the UN Global Compact.
- Working environment, working hours and wages must be in accordance with national legislation.
- Zero tolerance for corruption, extortion and bribery.
- Active management of environmental impacts, waste and chemicals.
- Access to audit, documentation and continuous improvements.
Whistleblower (safe and anonymous reporting)
If you experience serious matters (e.g. violations of legislation, corruption, serious working environment conditions or data protection violations), you can report safely. We protect whistleblowers from reprisals and treat all cases confidentially.
How to report:
1) Describe the incident as specifically as possible.
2) Attach any documentation.
3) Send the report via the contact form (select “Confidential inquiry”) or write to
compliance@imagewear.dk.
