Our current focus
Goal 5 – Gender equality
At Imagewear, we have equal pay for equal work and a team with both women and men in key functions. We believe that everyone can grow with their responsibilities and adapt roles so that employees have the best opportunities – even when flexibility and special considerations are needed.
Goal 8 – Decent jobs
We offer good and balanced working conditions with a focus on well-being, minimal overtime and opportunities for development. We take social responsibility through cooperation with the municipality on job testing and have received the Assens Municipality diploma as a socially responsible company since 2020. See the diploma.
Goal 12 – Responsible consumption
We work for responsible consumption through carefully selected European suppliers and a focus on sustainable textiles. As a partner in the RE:TURN project, we offer a green solution for collecting and recycling used workwear: Read about RE:TURN • See footwear made from recycled materials
Goal 3 – Health & well-being
We prioritize well-being through a strong community, where everyone is seen as an important part of the team. We balance workloads, support each other in daily life and create space for social and inspiring activities that strengthen both job satisfaction and mental health.
Goal 13 – Climate action
We take responsibility for the climate through energy-efficient premises with automatic lighting control, minimal resource consumption and active waste sorting. We recycle cardboard boxes for shipments and collect freight to reduce the climate footprint of transport.
Goal 17 – Partnerships
We believe that sustainability requires collaboration. That is why we enter into partnerships with suppliers, municipalities and recycling projects like RE:TURN, so that together we can create a more responsible future.
The other Sustainable Development Goals
We support all 17 Sustainable Development Goals and are continuously describing more initiatives. Below you will find short preliminary descriptions of the other goals.
Goal 1 – End poverty
We contribute locally through responsible purchasing, decent employment and cooperation with the municipality on job testing. Through long-term supplier relationships, we support stable jobs in the value chain.
Goal 2 – Stop Hunger
We support responsible events and suppliers that work against food waste and efficient supply chains. Through partnerships, we promote solutions that reduce waste and strengthen social efforts.
Goal 4 – Quality education
We prioritize practical training, clear onboarding and knowledge sharing in everyday life. Whenever possible, we offer internships/clarification courses and upskilling so that employees can develop skills over time.
Goal 6 – Clean water and sanitation
Our water consumption is low, and we follow hygienic standards in operations and warehouses. We prioritize suppliers that work with certifications and reduced water consumption in their production.
Goal 7 – Sustainable energy
We use energy-efficient solutions such as modern lighting fixtures with automatic regulation and optimize our consumption. We continuously assess opportunities for greener energy choices in operations and transport.
Goal 9 – Industry, innovation & infrastructure
We digitize workflows, streamline logistics and collaborate with suppliers on innovative materials and solutions that can increase quality and reduce environmental impact in the value chain.
Goal 10 – Less inequality
We treat everyone fairly and equally and adapt tasks when needed. Our collaboration on flexible jobs and job testing helps people get closer to the labor market and strengthens inclusion locally.
Goal 11 – Sustainable cities & communities
We contribute to a strong local community in Assens through jobs, cooperation with the municipality and responsible operation. We recycle packaging and plan shipments to reduce traffic and waste.
Goal 14 – Life in the ocean
We minimize plastic in our daily operations, sort correctly and prioritize solutions that reduce waste. Through supplier selection, we support initiatives that reduce pollution and microplastics in nature.
Goal 15 – Life on land
We reduce resource consumption by recycling cardboard boxes, choosing responsible materials and sorting waste. We monitor suppliers' work with nature in mind and support circular solutions where possible.
Goal 16 – Peace, justice & strong institutions
We conduct our business responsibly with respect for legislation, GDPR and ethical principles. We work for transparency, fairness and anti-corruption in our collaborations and processes.
