Imagewear & the UN Sustainable Development Goals – Our Focus and Progress

We support the UN Sustainable Development Goals and work step by step with concrete initiatives in our daily operations. Below we present the goals where we already make a difference, along with an overview of the remaining goals, which we will describe in more detail as our work progresses.

Our current focus

Goal 5 – Gender Equality

Imagewear offers equal pay for equal work and a workplace with both women and men in key functions. We believe that everyone can grow with their responsibilities and we adapt roles to ensure the best possible opportunities — including when flexibility or special considerations are needed.

Goal 8 – Decent Work

We offer healthy and balanced working conditions with a strong focus on well-being and development. We take social responsibility through collaboration with the municipality on supported employment, and since 2020 we have been recognized as a Socially Responsible Company.

Goal 12 – Responsible Consumption

We promote responsible consumption through carefully selected European suppliers and responsible textiles. As a partner in the RE:TURN programme, we offer a circular solution for collecting and recycling used workwear:

Goal 3 – Health & Well-being

We prioritise well-being through teamwork, shared responsibility and a healthy balance between tasks. Social activities and supportive day-to-day relationships strengthen both job satisfaction and mental health.

Goal 13 – Climate Action

We reduce our climate impact through efficient facilities with automatic lighting control, minimal resource consumption and active waste sorting. We reuse cardboard for shipments and consolidate freight to reduce transport emissions.

Goal 17 – Partnerships

We believe that sustainability requires cooperation. We work with suppliers, municipalities and reuse programmes such as RE:TURN to build a more responsible future together.

Other Sustainable Development Goals

We support all 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals and will continue to describe more initiatives over time. Below you will find short interim descriptions of the remaining goals.

Goal 1 – No Poverty

We contribute locally through responsible purchasing, decent employment and collaboration on supported jobs. Long-term supplier relations support stable workplaces across our value chain.

Goal 2 – Zero Hunger

We support partners and initiatives focused on reducing food waste and optimising supply chains. Through responsible collaborations, we promote solutions that reduce waste and strengthen social responsibility.

Goal 4 – Quality Education

We prioritise hands-on learning, clear onboarding and ongoing knowledge sharing. Where possible, we offer internships or upskilling opportunities.

Goal 6 – Clean Water & Sanitation

Our water consumption is low, and we follow hygienic standards in daily operations. We prioritise suppliers who work with certifications and reduced water consumption.

Goal 7 – Clean Energy

We use energy-efficient solutions such as modern lighting systems with automatic regulation. We continuously assess opportunities for greener energy choices.

Goal 9 – Innovation & Infrastructure

We digitalise workflows, optimise logistics and collaborate on innovative materials and solutions that increase quality and reduce environmental impact.

Goal 10 – Reduced Inequalities

We treat everyone fairly and with respect, adapting tasks when needed. Our collaboration on supported employment helps people move closer to the labour market.

Goal 11 – Sustainable Communities

We contribute to a strong local community through jobs, municipal cooperation and responsible operations. We reuse packaging and plan shipments to reduce waste and traffic.

Goal 14 – Life Below Water

We minimise plastic use, sort waste properly and prioritise solutions that reduce pollution and microplastics.

Goal 15 – Life on Land

We reduce resource use by reusing cardboard, choosing responsible materials and sorting waste. We support suppliers who work with nature protection and circular solutions.

Goal 16 – Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions

We operate responsibly with full respect for legislation, GDPR and ethical principles. We work for transparency, integrity and anti-corruption across our processes and supply chain.
